Every woman's menstrual period is different, some are heavy, some are lighter. If a woman bleeds from the anus that's not related to menstruation, it can mean she has something wrong with her intestines or colon.

Maybe if u have endometriosis, but not likely. Those cells that cause us to bleed monthly can migrate, and they will continue to cause bleeding monthly, wherever they happen to end up, but that is usually in the abdominal cavity. U do not bleed from the anus when u r on ur period.

If someone is bleeding from the butt, it is not menstruation, and they should be checked immediately by a doctor.
A heavy menstruation is caused by thick uterine lining. If it is problematic, a D & C may be needed.
