My favorite place nearby is called Meg O' Malley's, it's a great little Irish place downtown that still serves the Parliament bean soup for eighteen cents, among other things, and they have great live music too :)

But being a certified food handler and knowing a health inspector of restaurants, I choose to cook at home due to knowing many kitchens being just plain scarey !!!
