No honestly... After the nation has spoken why are we still "conservative republicans"
I really think our senator election was rigged... who wanted Perry to win again????
Would it be different if Bush wasn't from here?
P.S. I've lived in Tx all my life and I don't understand why....

Texas is historically very conservative, but also very independent, Whatever the nation is doing, you can count on Texans to do the opposite.
LBJ was from there. He was a Dem.
Texans want someone who represents them, and there's a lot of oil down there, and related businesses.

Most Texans are Conservative. Conservative=Republican. That is not to say we don't have "Yellow Dog" Democrats, we do.
My choices are based on ideology, not on Party affiliation or the persons charisma.
In National Elections I don't care where the candidate is from.
The only way I would've voted for Clinton is if he gave me one of his "Special CIGARS".

There wasn't anyone to vote for... at least we know Perry. I'm not really a Republican. But I'm not a Liberal... It's not about a Republicans and Democrats... It's about Right and Wrong. And that is what I will be basing my voting on.

Perry is our Governor not our senator. Why are we still Republicans? Because we know what the other side has done for us and what they want to do. With the Dems in office I hope you can speak Spanish, because we are about to be overrun. PAY ATTENTION!!!
