Well that last answer was particularly bad and uninformed since they came out.....today. The GeForce 8 series are the first DX10 cards and they were released November 8th, which of course is today. You can already get them on newegg and other sites, they have the top of the line 8800GTX and the slightly slower 8800GTS.

Directx 10 is tied to the new version of windows.Microsoft strikes again, and im not sure its possible to play a game without having windows vista for full preformance.

Once Windows Vista is ready, GPU companies will roll out the DX10 cards. I suppose Nvidia and ATi have been given an extended break thanks to Vista's delay.

You can expect by Quarter 1 2007
