when you first start wearing contacts it's really diificult to put them on. but what i found was the easiest is that make sure your finger isn't wet so the contact doesn't stick unto it easily. then open you lids with fingers and just look completely straight foward. don't look around or anything and just put the contact in directly. it usually sticks right aways and just blink a couple time and make sure there aren't any air bubbles. you'll eventually get use to it and it'll become second nature.

I dont look at the ceiling... I guess its just how you get used to doing it. I look straight ahead, like in a mirror or something, and I put the contact like right on my eye. Put it on your finger, I use my pointer, and the like dont stare at the contact as you are moving it closer to your eye, just look straight ahead. As long as you aim for the middle of your eye, youre good, aha.
Hold your eyelashes out of the way too. When I first got mine my eyelashes always knocked it out of the way and folded it.
I use my left hand to hold the top of my eyelid, and my middle/ring/pinky fingers of my right hand to hold the bottom and then my pointer to put in the contact.
It takes practice... just dont give up. Find the right technique thats good for you, its different for each person.

Once you have the contact on your eye, and still are holding your lids apart, don't blink. Move your eye around in a circle like you are looking around. This helps set my contacts. Sometimes, I have to pull my upper lid out a bit and over the top of the contact to set it. You will learn all kinds of nifty tricks. Just be careful you don't drop them down the drain of the sink! Now, Practice! Practice!

Make sure your eyes are moist (I used to put contact solution in my eyes) and just touch the lens to your eye. If your eye is moist, the lens will stick to it flat instead of folding.
Good luck!

Please, Don't look at the ceiling!!! Look in the mirror so you know where your putting your lens. Don't forget to wet and clean it for 10 sec. on both sides of the contact lens.
