o it was very disturbing but awesome, the journal sounded really real, the thing i liked abt it was how alice kept on wanting to stop taking drugs but got back on it again and again and her death at the end was a sad part, the disturbing adventures were heart-touching!! those of u who didn't read it, i highly recommend it to u!!

I did not think that I would like Go Ask Alice because at the time I was into light and fluffy books, but then these journals turned my whole perspective around. They're so raw and incredibly real. Now I've shifted my interests book-wise to novels like The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath and Prozac Nation by Elizabeth Wurtzel, which are both great reads by the way!

I read it a while back, thinking that it might be an interesting read. Parts of it were really good, realistic and really puts you where the author was at the time. But other parts of it seemed to be a bit too biased and contrived. Overall, I'd probably read it again, but not anytime soon.

Sad but true is a good description. I think all girls should read it and learn from it. Some read it and are inspired by it, which I find a bit disconcerting.
