I seem to read this question more metaphorically, than anything else. Yes, I always seem to do just that. Because I have such a certain future, I seem to have a definite need to squeeze as much as possible into today. I can take nothing for granted, so I just don't let that happen.

Great sentiment and since they are not in bloom sorry to say "no" I haven't. I am so ready to find something to really smile about that the flowers have not been in my view but I will make a concerted effort in the days to come. Thanks for the reminder.

not really. i don't find roses to smell good. actually no flowers smell good to me except jasmine. but that flower can get too strong.

not today....thanks for the reminder. sometimes we get so busy and involved in all around us that we don't take the time to calm our inner selves and look past the chaos that surrounds us. we need those gentle reminders that life's not "everything all the time".
