Me neither. It shouldn't be up to the government anymore than the abortion issue should. It's nobody's business but their own. There is no choice in whether you're gay or not, so why make it any harder on them for having natural feelings? People have so much to say on topics they know nothing about and the government is actually using it their own political races. Who cares? I don't care how someone feels about whether gays can marry or a woman who is raped has an abortion or not. I care that people in political seats are doing their jobs and that's just not happening for the most part. It's a way to get out of the limelight, to change the subject, to avoid the real issues that count.

When the homosexuals just live their lives instead of trying to make all of us believe they are something special we may be able to co exist.
Personally i do not see any reason for two of the same sec ever wanting to marry or even have sec together. Many do so there must be some reason behind it.
Where I live it is not an issue at all. The homosexuals live as they see fit and very few here even bother to question it.
thee are a lot more of them out there than most people would ever believe.
Religion is the most cause of the problem.

I agree 100%! And I'm LMAO @ shouldn't they have the right to be miserable too. (I'm not miserable, but jeez it sure looks like ALOT of people are, after reading this section of Y!Answers.) What is the big deal? By all means let gay people get married. Will it affect me in any way? No.

Also str8, I would say live and let live without judgment...no worries.
The only debate I can understand is when gays adopt children, wondering how these families deliver a natural child rearing environment? What effect does this have on children? Do these kids understand, adjust and cope successfully? Are they ridiculed and abused in school?
Other than these questions, it's all good.

I'm not gay but I'm single. I want the same perks as "married couples". I want to hook up with one of my buds in a non-sexual room mate kind of relationship and be entitled to his employers health benefits. I want to file taxes as a couple. Just those 2 points will save me several thousand $'s a year. What else do married people get? I want survivor rights to his Social Security. I want to inherit his estate instead of his family. Hell we'll give you $250 for a disolution if we want change roommates. We'll even give you $10 for a domestic partner license.

I completely agree with you. Being gay is not a choice, its the way you're born, and we should not put a limitation on what they can do just because the marriage wouldn't be "traditional". I say, let them get married like the rest of us, and lets move on to more important issues.

I totally support gay marriage! My hot gay guys and sweet gals deserve to get married just as much as the breeders... personally, I don't even give a crap about "marriage." There's no so-called sanctity in that process. Just look on TV... two complete strangers marry each other for a million freaking dollars. Woo... that's right, you church zealots. That's SOOO sacred. v.v'... ANYONE and EVERYONE should be allowed to partake in this suicide pact in my opinion.

My husband doesn't agree with same sex marriage is because marriage is a covenant handed down by God to man and woman, and recognized by our government.
I personallly think it's a good idea. Perhaps marriage could put a cap on the ever growing delemas with this culture.

I haven't heard/seen the gay marriage argument in months...personally, I think any humans of legal (consenting) age should be able to marry if they so desire...and why limit it to 1 spouse? if multiple people want to marry, no reasonable reason why that shouldn't be allowed to...
why is it anyone's biz other than the people involved?
