I would be taking my husband this weekend. Is that a good idea?
He brought us to a really good club two weekends ago, and I had a FANTASTIC time. Now it's my turn to take him somewhere. What do you think? Neither of us are super educated on wine, but we both enjoy it.

Hey, I live in Michigan too! Maybe I'll save brew pubs for my next turn for an idea for a date! Thanks!

Try a brewery, brew festival, or pub crawl. They are fun. A little romance and alchohol! My wife and I found a map of all of the brewery's in Michigan and hit everyone except for the few in the U.P.

Wineries are a good time. Make sure one of you can drive.
Do not worry about the education thing. Wineries are glad to teach, that's what they do. They all have tours in the cellar and describe the grapes, pressing, aging and the like. This is a fun , educational and tasty day.
Be aware that Michigan as well as Ohio wineries run from very good to very questionable. The only way to find out is go and sample. Drink what you like and don't worry about the ratings.
Who are the prudes who do not think this is a good idea and are passing out the poor ratings? Lets hear your ideas.

Wine tasing is so much fun! I think it's a great idea. Maybe go online before the date and look up the winery you want to visit, or just some general info on wine, then you can impress your sweetie with your new knowledge. No matter what, I say go for it, and have a good time. Drink a glass for me!

If you both enjoy the taste of wine, it's an AMAZING idea for a date. It doesn't matter if you're educated on wine or not ... they'll tell you so much and you'll walk away from the experience with a much better appreciation of the different types. Have fun!

I have been to one duringn the winter months and was not really impressed. I think that you should consider waiting till summer when it is all in action. Don't get me wrong though it is awesome. There are some down here where you can actually STAY on site of the winery it is perfectly awesome.

purely be your self. It relies upon on the position you're going. If that is contained in the nighttime and interior the position some valuable slacks with a button down and a jacket. If that is in the course of the day and outside i might want to the position denims with a button down and a jacket.

I think it would be an awesome date. For one, you would learn a lot about something you know little about. Two....free wine! Three...drinking wine always sets the mood for a romantic night (as long as you don't have too much)! Go for it!

I think it is a good idea and if you have room in your car for another then pick me up on the way. No I am not a drinker but I think it would be interesting to go there.
