Restalyne.

Botox will stop the signals to your muscles, and it is a temporary solution. You may or may not be able to move your face the way you used to and your smile may change.

Restalyne is just injected, and your face and smile will look exactly the same. Restalyne is also permanent. A good cosmetic doctor will put in a temporary filler first to see how you look, and if you are happy, he'll then put in the permanent filler.

Do you mean your laugh lines (nasolabial folds or the lines that run along side your mouth) or your crow's feet (the lines around the eyes)? Botox is best for the lines in the upper half of the face. Restylane is good for the lower half of the face. There are really no good alternatives to Botox but there are a number of other fillers that you can use instead of Restylane. Some last longer but are more expensive.
