Ive been told that i am arrogant. I tell people they do things wrong, but with the intention to help. how can i change the way i help people without coming off as arrogant?

Arrogance blinds the heart of the arrogant.
Try, first, to understand the people who you see as doing something wrong. Always understand how they feel about themselves. That's the most important thing, understanding.
After you fully understand them, seek to be understood by them. No judgements, no accusations, no arguments. You may find that the only help they need is less than you think.
Seek first to understand, then to be understood.

Remember that there is more than one way to do something and yours is not ALWAYS the best way. Someone may know or figure another way thats better.
Tell them "This is how I would do it" or let me show you a quicker way I have found". Tell them they are not doing it as well as they could be and then show them if they are willing to be shown.
Pride goeth before the fall. If you tell everyone your superior, eventually you will make a mistake no matter how small and it will glare like a million suns reflectiing off of a mirror for everyone to see. To the person who does make mistakes on a regular basis, its normal and no one really notices.
I guess it just goes to show that someone can live on this earth for ANY number of years and STILL not know everything there is to know.
I have one guy at work who thinks he knows and has done everything there is to do and does it perfectly. Everytime he brags about how well he can back a trailer or drive a truck, he backs into something and breaks it. If he doesnt brag, he is fine.

Arrogence can be annoying. Example; Kevin Federline who said he was the most talked about celebrity in the last couple years. Also the most hated and underrated. That's sure saying a lot for ones self isn't it? It's not just being confident in ones self but also assuming everyone thinks and talks about you in a certain way.
Maybe they find you arrogant because your jump to the conclusion they can't figure it out on their own? Your just assuming you could do better and help them. How about asking them if they would like your help? If they don't then leave it alone. If they do try to do it in a manner that won't make them feel they are stupid.

Cause it means that you are not grateful for the truth which is that God made you and all around you and that there is One God which includes you and all around you and you are no better than they are except that somehow you got given a gift which shows itself, which should be of no more worth than another's gift that may not be apparent to you. If you love others, you are not worth more than them. But society makes us bow to the uppers, and do what they say and so if you are arrogant you came from a teaching that you were better than somebody else and that you should jam your answers down the throats of others to get attention and power and privilidge and prestige continued to be favored upon you by other arrogant people who either raised you or attach to your environment to support you that way. It is ok to help others learn, but you need to help them have esteem about it....help the idea come from them. If you are smart, you will figure a way

Jay,being arrogant is not always a bad thing, you tell people when they are doing wrong,some people take it wrong, because they don't want to be wrong or they don't want to admit they are wrong so they get pissed at you, try to wait till someone ask you,I know sometimes its hard to do but it will all work out

Being arrogant is bad because it makes you look like a jerk. People don't like jerks. Don't tell people that they do things wrong. Did you ever think that they don't want your help? If they want your advice, they'll ask. Just keep your mouth shut.

Only offer help if they ask for it. Otherwise you look like a smartass, and will be called arrogant.

i think it's great for you to be trying to help people and tell them when they're making mistakes but you have to realize that sometimes if people edont want your help, you cant force it upon them
being arrogant is dangerous because it makes other people hate you for acting all high and mighty
perhaps you are superior but it's better to let them tell you, and not vice versa

What if everybody become errogant in this world, would you like the world in that way? Try to be polite and smart while conveying your thoughts. Control your emotions.

If you are asked then help.
If you are helping get the job done you might suggest.
If you are in the way of getting the job done and telling people your expertize then you might let them alone to get the job done.
