No... Democrats have had to cooperate with him for a long time now. This will force him to make changes in Iraq which will save us a large amount of money to put towards social programs such as public schools, social security, etc. We should be focusing on our own people not another country and that's what "those who he despises" want.

No, I think its Karma. If he is a great president or even a good one he will find a way to still get things done. If he is arogant and pompus as most think he is then he will get nothing done except blame those in house.

Its time for him to show his true colours he has a chance to make the next 2 years count and change a lot of peoples minds. I wonder if he has it in him.

If you think he will cooperate, think again. They will roll out the dirty tricks the way they have for 12 years. The work has not yet begun strategize against it. Now is the time to ENJOY THE MOMENT.

No, Bush deserves to be put in a little box tied up with string & put in a room with a 15 watt bulb.

I sort of like this 'humble-pie-eating' Bush. He has no choice but to co-operate with the Democrats. They have HIM by the short and curlies. They control the purse-strings.

Nope, not at all... I feel bad for the Democrats that have to clean up his mess.
He made his bed, now he has to lie in it. America called for a change, and its about time too.

He doesn't have to cooperate He has the power of the almighty veto, and the democratic congress does not have the required 2/3 majority to override it!!!!
