Ok so last year my friend angela read my diary, and admitted to it. then this year, i had a very private entry that she knew about. it was on a solitary piece of paper. she said she had to go to the bathroom, and something made me look beside me. the entry was gone! i knocked on the door and asked if she'd seen it but she didn't seem to hear me. when she came out she played innocent (maybe she is...?) and helped me look for it. i went into the bathroom to look, and she seemed kind of nervous. then she said she had to go to the bathroom again. she put the vent on, but i thought i heard paper rustling in there. and she never puts that vent on? coincidence?
then she went to get her book from downstairs, and i found the entry in the bathroom. how did it get there?
there was a wet mark on it.
i confronted her and before i even finished the question she denied it.
she said that he dog had probably carried it into the bathroom, hence the wet mark.
i was kind of doubtful, but let it go

so my question is, do you think she did it? now i wasn't sure she'd do such a thing (again) until yesterday, when i went into the bathroom and suspected something, only to find her reading something else private.
what do you think?

also, i've broached the subject several times but every time she denies it whole-heartedly. i don't want to be a jerk, just in case she didn't do it, but it really upsets me because that entry was personal, private and special to me.

I think you need to find another place for your journal or diary, and you also need to find another friend. True friends do not violate the trust and privacy of a friend. That is not acceptable. The first time i may have over looked this, however, she has turned this into a game and a very disrespectful one. And not only does she invade your privacy she also lies about it. Not any qualities I would want in someone i call my friend. Good luck and God bless

Well first of all, why do you let your friend get an easy handle on your diary??
I am pretty sure she did it because the proof was the paper in the bathroom and how she wuickly said no. She has to have read it. you should tell her something!! and keep your diary more safe and out of your friends reach because she is ObVioUsLy lying to you! Tslk to her and say that your diary is PRIVATE!! she shouldnt be your friend if she is lying and if she is ready your private and possibly personal secrets!! NOT a good thing!

she's such a sneak. the first time she read your diary and admitted to it, you should have given her a punishment. she's also a liar. but why would you leave your diary out for everyone to see? she must have picked it up but did not know anything to the fact that it's a diary. and you know that how curiosity can kill a cat.
