I took the battery out of my phone today to get the model # and now its acting all freaked out. Wont get past the "hellomoto" screen, now its just flashing at me. Tried taking the battery back out, leaving it out for a while, charging it, no good, store where i bought it said "just get a new one" I have an identical phone at home that works great, is there a sim card on this thing i can switch? any ideas? grateful for any help or ideas. thanks.

Try going back to the store and if they don't want to help, ask for the manager. I work in the cell industry and the 266 is notorious for this problem and they should send it into repair for you. You should have a 1 year manf. warenttee, if you don't then they may charge you for the repair and by that time you might as well just get a new phone cause it'll be cheaper.
