when he fights for our country in that coliseum of world dictators and criminals otherwise known as the UN?

Does it disturb your sensibilities that he places America's interests above all others?

Would you rather our UN Ambassador bow to world "leaders" that deny the existence of terrorism?

well, fighting for your country in the UN is kinda like copulating for abstinence. a diplomat is suppose to be diplomatic and Bolton is not only not diplomatic he's deliberately abrasive.

well, one would expect any US Ambassador sent to the UN to place American interests above all others. however, one must also expect a willingness to compromise for the good of the entire world. America is not an island unto herself.

tch! what country denies the existence of terrorism? and when flexibility is required when coming into agreement with other world leaders it's not called "bowing". it's called diplomacy and diplomacy is always cheaper in blood, money and property damage than war. the world is getting too small for Yeehaw Cowboy Shoot Em Up mentalities.

Better still--why isn't Bush re-recommending him for the position?

Bolton was never subjected to confirmation hearings. He's a slick implant by Bush, weaseled into the position while Congress was out of session. His term is up and it's time to go. The only reason he was appointed was for Bush to get another one of his G-men in there. He knew that congress would never affirm his appointment even though the pubs controlled the process!!

Go away with the rhetoric--it has no merit as of yesterday!!
