I think Eugene is a very minor character...But he could be fun to play...And you get to be part of the cast.

Anyone thats seen Grease like a million times would know that Eugene is the geeky, nerd that always gets picked on by the T-birds. I would consider him a minor character but the lines that he says are funny! Have fun!

It's a minor character - but a really good one! You'll have fun with it. The only dance he is in is the Hand Jive.
When I was in "Grease," I played three parts: Eugene, Teen Angel and Vince Fontaine. So, in our production, Eugene wasn't in the Hand Jive.
Good luck - and enjoy having your belt up under your armpits :-P

Ah Eugene is the funniest character! It's a great part, and if you play it right you'll steal the show. Eugene is the biggest loser you've ever met, so be sure to sound funny and act as werid as possible. Good luck and have fun!!

I've seen this show numerous times. He is not one of the t-birds, but is a supporting role. One version the guy playing Eugene stole the show! Hammed up every scene he was in and you couldn't not remember him at the end of the night.Other times you forget him. So as long as you have fun with the role and get into it, you'll have a blast!
