You are SOOL there buddy! There is no such thing as a cheap ticket to Hawaii. Better use http://www.sidestep.com or http://www.priceline.com so you can at least name the price you want to pay for your ticket. I suggest buying a vacation package to save money. Also make sure you fly from a major airport so that you can also save money. You might be paying over $2000. Well I did a hypothetical search and for a plane ticket and a 3 star hotel it would be $1500 to $3305 on the sidestep website. On priceline.com I saw vacation packages for $1300 to under $2500. The lowest price was $1324. Good luck in your search.

See if you can barter with someone for their frequent flyer miles. If that doesn't work, maybe take out a small loan? Place an ad in the paper if anyone has any good deals. Good luck.

Try posting free wanted classifieds in your local newspaper's websites or try posting a wanted ad at craiglist.org. As many have mentioned, someone may be trying to sell off non-refundable tickets they cannot use.

Good luck!
