Walk kind-of like a horse, crossing one foot over the other while you're walking. (When you step with your left foot , put it far in front of your right foot, and move it far to the right side also). Gently curl your fingers, providing a relaxed look, and swing your arms naturally at your sides. Most importantly, keep your shoulders back and have good posture!

(About the foot-crossing thing, look at a pic of a runway model the next time you see one, and you'll notice that her front foot is crossed over the back one. It might sound confusing in print, but it's really not at all!)

Believe it or not, when I googled your question, I got thousands of hits. Try it!

Basically, it's good posture and, while you walk, pretend there's a straight line on the floor and you're trying to keep your feet on it, or slightly crossed over it. You really should google this - there really is a lot of good stuff ALREADY ON THE WEB.

In a 5 second google search you would have had your answer...

You place the foot out front, in front of the other foot, not in front of where you moved it from, so your feet essentially land on a spot as if you were walking along a line.

You want to make sure you have the right posture. But you also want to make sure that you walk one foot in front of the other somewhat slowly.

very straight and tall and your foot will appear to be headed to opposite side of normal placement-almost in front of opposite foot. Straight and tall can be achieved by balancing a book on your head while walking...have fun

the key is to keep your head and shoulders in correct posture, have confidence and grace. cross legs slightly over eachother, not swaying arms too hard. take long strides to elongate your legs
