I think this is a terrific movie. It depicts racism to a tee. I like the acting a lot and the writing is phenominal. The script is really well done and the way it seems very realistic is another good aspect of it. The realization that Edward Norton finally comes to is great, because it shows people can change. Very sad ending though. The part when he (Norton) turns around to face the cops, when he shoots the kid is unreal! He really looks psychotic at that point! His eyes alone tell a story!

You want to know some of my fave movies? Well lol they have nothing to do with American History X but here is 5 of them: 1. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory 2. Marley and Me 3. The Dark Knight 4. The Little Mermaid 5. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Haha I like American History X but I'm more of a fan of fantasy and children's movies. But if you liked American History X you might like some of these movies: Boyz n the Hood The God father Watchmen An Innocent Man City of God Fight Club Seven American Beauty Pulp Fiction Crash The Departed 25th Hour The Shawshank Redemption Reservoir Dogs Les Miserables Little Odessa The People vs. Larry Flynt

Its a great movie. Its scary to know that there are people out there that actually feel the way the characters in this movie do. Ed Norton is a great actor and in my opinion, under used.

Likes would be a severe understatement. I loved that movie, I'm still upset that Ed Norton didn't get the Oscar. The message was very powerful, and in my opinion, would benefit society in general if it were required viewing for all high school students

Powerful portrayal of Neo-Nazi movement in America. Told in series of flashbacks. Flawless acting by Edward Norton. Does its best to make the point that no one is ever right aand no one is ever wrong. I have a friend who was a Nazi and a racist. But upon walking out of the theater after this movie he hung his head in shame. This is why the film industry began.

Great movie. Ed Norton is one of the great actors of our time. Avery Brooks (the black councilor) and Stacy Keach (the head of the skin heads) were also really good.
