The whole thing still depresses the hell out of me now, I mean, who the hell actually LIKED it? Everything from the titles to the horrible music to Aunt Sally's stupid red cheeks to that boss who constantly wanted to throw Worzel on the bonfire...(shivers)...uugh

It was brilliant. Forever summer. Reminds me of where I grew up, or failed to do so.

I have weird feelings about Worzel Gummidge. He used to scare me a bit in a 'dirty old man' kinda way. Gross!

Did he always fall the same way in the titles?

Worzel Gummidge used to scare the be-jesus out of me, I hated it, especially when he changed heads. It was rubbish, your right, but I still got nightmares.

Crystal tips and Alistair was a stonker as was Babar the Elephant. More recently, those four coloured jelly babies LaLa etc must have been meant to entertain foetuses.

You obviously have never seen Byker Grove. How could the BBC possibly make a children's programme that had accents completely incomprehensible to everyone except a few inbreds from the north east?

Maybe you should set up a support group for people traumatised by scarecrow related shenanigans, that programme was creepy as hell, but I have two words for you, sir: FRAGGLE ROCK

'Nuff said.
