this is just a random odd question i know but it DOES NOT apply to me and i dont know anyone going through it i was just curious...

If you get drunk the day after u concieved, what will happen with tha baby? will it develope? also if you have a misscarage in the begining of your 1st trimester what do they do, do they have to removie it from your body or do they just like leave it and your body heals itself? Or do you have to just give birth to a still baby?

drinking....i was almost 2 months pregnant before i found out i was pregnant and my son was fine. i quit afterwards though. it was a one time deal and nothing was wrong, it won't hurt the baby for you to get drunk one time in early pregnancy....now drinking continusly..not sure on my spelling....will get you in some trouble and it will hurt your baby....when you miscarry within the first tri-mester of pregnancy you will of course go to the doctor and then they will tell you if you indeed did miscarry and if you did then you will pass the baby out your body, they will not remove it...i know this because my sister had a miscarrage about a month ago. now if your baby dies later in your pregnancy, they will remove it from your body, if it is safe for you to deliver then you will or if you are like my other sister, she lost her son austin the friday before she was scheduled to have him and carried him until the day she was actually supposed to have him, which was the following tuesday, her choice, i personally would not have done it but i praise her for having the courage to do it. hope this answered your question, holly

Most likely it does not affect the baby because it can take up to 10 days before the baby starts to recieve your nutrients and the alcohol would not get into it's blood stream. Many of people have drank alcohol before they got pregnant (in fact, I'm sure that's how many pregnancies happen.)

It depends on how far along you are in the first trimester on what they do if you have a miscarriage. Often the body cleans it out itself. If you can collect the sample if you miscarriage, it will hel the doctor to know if you passed the whole baby. Sometimes they will clean you out, but sometimes they wait for the body to do it itself. Later on they need to check to remove it. Many women have miscarriages and never know it because they just think it's their period (it happens around the time of their period.) A still birth baby doesn't come along till much later, closer to the third trimester.

I think that since a good 30% of kidswere conceived when their mothers were drunk in north America, nothing happens to kids whose mothers were drunk at conception As for the miscarriage thing. If you have the miscarriage at the beginning of your firsttrimester, then you wouldn't even know you are pregnant, However, at the end of your first trimester, the doctor would have to check and make sure everything was ejected and would do a D & C if everything wasn't or if hesuspected anything was left. a miscarriage means thathe baby is ejected from your womb, by the way.

Most likely nothing. Lots of women go drinking, then find out that they are pregnant later on and go on to have healthy babies.

If you miscarry, usually your body will purge the pregnancy like a regular menstrual period. In some cases, a D&C is needed, where they will manually remove the remains.

If the baby dies after the middle of the second trimester (I think around 27 weeks, they consider it a still birth), it is a still birth and the woman will have to go through labour in order to remove the baby :(

If you get drunk the day after you conceive you should be fine as long as you don't do it anymore, the alcohol in your blood should be out of you within a couple of days, depending on how drunk you got. Miscarriage stands for you could not carry your baby and most of the time your body get rid of the fetus, you go to the doctor and they take it out. If you are under 20 weeks they do a procedure that simulates the abortion procedure if your body has not expelled the fetus itself, if you are over 20 weeks they make you go into labor. They do not leave a death baby inside of you.

I was told if its too early to miss a period, its too early to hurt the baby.
