I just bought a white ipod nano 3months ago and now I really would like a red one and the thing that totally sucks is I paid the same price for 2gb that it is now $200 I just feel cheated of 500songs so I emailed the company but surprise no one has emailed me back in the stated time it takes to. What should I do! plus my name is engraved on it so if I sell it how would I get it off so a weirdo doesn't do something weird? HELP i really would like the red and the extra 500 songs the should owe me!

I also have no music on it despite my love for it, if that helps to return it or sell it.

sorry, but theres nothing you can do but buy a new one. I just bought a new nano, and the 2gb new nano was only $10 more than the old one so I cant see that the prices youre looking at are so much different. And the new nano dont come in red. They come in silver, green, pink, black and blue. Try selling it on e-bay or craigslist.org. There are tons of people that will buy I-pods from there but you'll have to sell it for pretty cheap.

It's not like at 500 songs you can no longer download songs for the nano. It can hold 2GB of songs and it is assuming your songs are a certain length. But if all of your songs are 8 minutes you are going to get about half of what is promised from apple. Also your ipod probably didn't start with 2GB on it. My 30GB video started with 27.84 GB.

You should see if you even fill up your old iPod with all of the songs you want on it and see if it is full. If you do fill it up, by some miracle, and, ipod emails you back, I dought they will replace your ipod with a new one because its your fault that you didn't wait until the new nano was being sold. I knew about them 4 months before they came out so while I had my chance I bought a first generation ipod shuffle for resale in ten yers when its an antique and theirs fourth generation shuffles.
