As I understand it, Sempron = Celeron, and in my opinion, Celeron is pretty awful in terms of performance. You're on a budget, so I understand. If you're going to shell out 600+ for a computer, consider upgrading to a Turion for an extra $50 bucks + tax. If you keep the laptop for even just two years, you won't regret it.

sounds like a good deal, yes. You would do good on that, and u get more than similar models and price range, like free vista upgrade
and you get wireless and 60gb harddrive-yes

I think you have a good specs there. The selling points are the RAM memory, video memory & processor. For me it's a good buy. Good luck.
