Can anybody help me I am 14 years old and sometimes I feel like I want to have a baby. I know that I am to young for that right now but sometimes I feel that I should have one. I am not going to have a baby b/c I have big plans in life but I just want to know have you ever felt that way. What to do??

I have a boyfriend and I talked to him about it and he said that he is not ready for that kind of responibly and he said he don't think I am ready either. My b/f is 15.

Its normal for the most part ur growing into a woman and one day u will become a mother so the feelings are essential to ur future but i think that maybe that feeling them now might mean that you ar lackin love and care in ur life. Maybe u dont feel special to anyone and u know in a childs eyes u will be special becuz ur his/her mom. Maybe u want to care and have someone to love who you know will love u back. Or you really like a boy and u think if you have a baby with him it will guarntee you alls relationship. In any case u sound smart when u said ur too young, u are. Babies are hard even for grown married women so its even harder for young women like urself who is still trying to figure out what u want in life and how u will go about getting it. Being a parent is very stressful at times and challenging. I am 26 and i have two kids, but i had them both in my 20's, but i am in college and trying to finish my degree and it is so much harder to do with kids and now i see why so many women told me to wait. I wish i would have so that i could make the life i want and then bring my kids into it, instead of struggling try to make it while i have them. But since i cant take it back i do the best I can. I love them dearly and I want what best for them and their smiles make it easier to bare.

For some reason a lot of girls want to have babies around 14 and 15. I did and now I'm 26 and having my first baby. It's just a phase, though. It will pass. Hang in there and think of your future. Having a baby at a young age is not cool, even though some girls think it is. It's kind of trashy, and sometimes when I see young girls with babies, I think "she couldn't keep her legs closed". So just enjoy your teen years, go out with friends and have fun.

Yes, I wanted a baby when I was 17 and I got pregnant. I had him at 18 and I love him with all of my heart but I never graduated high school or did anything with my life. I am a mother and a wife but I wish I were more than that.

I was 15 when I gave birth to my first child. Her father was also 15...We are married now and have a second child on the way and are 19. Babies are a lot of responsiblity. It's hard to work, go to school, and try to care for a child. I lost a lot of my friends over it but she is worth it. Her father also walked out on me for almost 5 months. Taking on that responsibility is hard. Get your plans out of the way.....Get your goals.....Then after you marry have a kid if you still want one. Babies dont solve problems they usually complicate them more.

I felt like that when I was your age. I had my first child at 18. Stick to your plans and go get your dreams.
Talk to your parents, see if you could get a pet of some kind. Something for you to love and care for. Something that is your own and your responsibility.

gurl i have felt the same way. I decided i wanted a boy name adrian and a girl name adair. I'm only 14 to but girl just feel that way sometimes because(speaking for my self) i want to be able to see what it is like to be independent and babies are so cute and adorable!

sure i wanted children when i was young, not quite 14 but still young and i did, i was 20 when i gave birth to my son which is still concidered young, babys are lots of work and are for life, you should finish school and stick with your big plans in life, you will be glad in years to come thats you waited.

Im sure kids your age do BUT babies are alot of responsibilty and you're right that you're too young..Enjoy your life and when the time is really right you'll know what to do..

Ask your parents if you can get a puppy or a kitten...having something to nurture could be very helpful. Talk to your Mum also, mums are pretty knowledgeable people..

Sure, it comes from being too grown up to play with dolls, but still not emotionally mature enough not to play with dolls.
