Dude, your spelling is the only attention grabbing thing at present. And let's not lay on that twaddle about not having proper schooling. Anyone who is writing thesis statements and essays has certainly had enough schooling to spell better than that.
As far as your essay goes, you could use the daylight saving time mnemonic:
Spring forward, fall back. Four little words that throw terror into the heart of a clock shop owner......

teachers and students
anything like that would be an easy compare contrast essay.

Forget the thesis statement... spelling is a much bigger issue!
