Is there anyone on here that knows of anyone or who cannot read or write in cursive cursive themselves? This is just a question out of curiosity because lately I've been trying to write in cursive more after years of staying as far away from it as possible. Anyone's answer would be greatfully excepted!

my friend Aly can not read or write cursive. I used to not be able to write in cursive. I practiced a lot and hey, you know what they say, practice makes perfect.

Good Luck,

My son's teacher did not make him write in cursive because his writing was messy. Now that he is older, the teachers are making him read and write in cursive and now his studies are suffering. You are not alone and it will take time but the more you practice, the easier it will get. Good Luck!

Each school has a different curriculum. Mandated subjects imposed by school boards have caused regular manuscript and cursive writing lessons to be abandoned. Poor or illegible writing affects grades and employment opportunities. Parents should teach and train their children how to write if they want to excel in school. A sloppy writer is often labeled a poor employment choice.
