the moon is not a star

I'm sorry, I don't understand your question...

The earth's moon is not a star, and neither is any other moon of any other planet.
A moon is defined as a body which orbits a planet. A star is defined as a huge ball of gas that has enough matter and gravity to sustain nuclear fusion at its core. The two are completely different.

The moon is a natural satellite. I've never heard it called a star, probably because it's not a star.

The moon is not a star. It's a solid spherical object. A star isn't solid and generates energy from nuclear fusion in its core.

It's not called a star. It's a moon. It's not a gaseous ball of fire.
