Trust me - I know what I'm doing! Where's the justice in only making a few seasons of Sledge whereas Cosby went on forever.
My favourite line was where Sledge went home to discover a woman there.
'What are you doing in my home?'
'I was just making a quick phone call'
'That's a damn lie - there's no such thing as a woman making a quick phone call!

It had really good title music, I remember that show loved it must have being about 12 at the time and use to stay up during summer holidays to watch it as it use to be on 22.30

If this is the 80's sitcom I am thinking of my brother loves it!
I thought it was pretty silly.

It was a funny show. I loved how he would talk to his gun like it was a real person. You can get it on DVD now.
