My mazda 00' B3000 has door ajar problems that are VERY annoying and will keep my dome light on and drain my battery. I took dome light fuse out and fixed battery problem but i still cant get the door ajar light to go off! Yes the door is shut but the truck doesnt know that...

The door ajar switch on that vehicle is most likely located on the door latch itself. Your 2000 mazda is basically the same vehicle as a 2000 ford ranger. They are known for those door ajar switches to go bad. To figure out if its the driver or passenger door, unhook the electrical wire to one of them, its inside the door, if after you unhook the wire the light goes out, thats the switch thats bad. Most likely the drivers side. Probably less than 20 bucks to fix yourself
