It has nothing to do w/ cheating or anything related to that...I mean when is it time to let go....stop giving them what and when they need it...for example my ex-wife and i have been divorced for 5 years i'm still there no matter what and to this i do the same w/ past girlfiends..who end up becomming some of my best friends. My present girl friend has trouble w/ it..but she also knows that i will and am always there for her. her last thought is what if we do split, she knows how i am.i will take care of her

Sorry, this is probably not the answer you want, but here goes...You and your (ex) wife are still "one flesh." It will never be the right time to let go, as she is your help-mate for life. GOD bless.

The Lord can help you decide when enough is enough. Put your Trust in Him.

The only way to find true peace and the free gift Jesus offers to all is accepting Jesus as your Savior. Find a Christian church near your home and you will enter the family of God. You will be filled w/ love, joy, peace and happiness that is undescribable. You can also join a Bible Study. Praying is POWERFUL. Trust me I know. You will never regret having Jesus first in your life. He is the answer to all your life's questions & problems. You will never be the same once Jesus touches your heart.

John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

God Bless my friend!

When my ex and I divorced the ties were cut. Yes she has asked for help/favores , but I couldn't allow myself to be there for her. In my case , it was my ex who wanted the divorce...the grass was greener on the other side of the fence ...so she thought.
This may or may not be the answer you were looking for but I hope it helps you.

Not a good idea to take care of exs. Once split up, sever all ties. No help, not communications. Start afresh with the new one.
