1000 milliliters

2006-11-08 12:04:47 · answer #1 · answered by Marti M 3 · 2 0

there are 1000 milliliters in a liter. 'Milli' means a thousand. Thus there are 1000 millimeters in a meter. Also the prefix 'centi' means 100 and there are 100 centimeters in a meter and 100 centiliters in a liter. It's a very sensible system, this metric stuff.
