When you can view the bar click on "View", Then "Toolbars" and put a check mark next to everything you want to see.

the f11 key

the long way would be to click on view, then full screen. that would get you to only see the address bar with the mouse. f11 changes back and forth between the two views.

put courser in top of screen on open area right click drop down opens select address bar or what you want you should be set to go

Hit F11. It maximizes the IE window. Hitting it again will bring it back to normal.
