I agree with KNY360... your MOM is the women that raised you.
As for finding your birth parents. I am NOT sure which are free.. but here is some info to get you started. Check the link.
Good Luck

If you have the name of your biological mother and if she is in the US, go to http://www.peoplefinders.com/.
http://www.peoplefinders.com/ Find anyone, anywhere. Public record, people search service, and more.
Enter in the name of the person you are looking for and feel free to select the state you knew last the person was in, and look at the matches you make with that. Matches may list any associated names used on the person's file in public record and matches may also list any possible relatives of the person you're looking for. Any names that may match the name you are looking for, you can jot down before trying to search that name at http://www.zabasearch.com. That may help you out that way.

If you were adopted you could try to find her by looking at your birth records. You could check marriage records, myspace, or this is a secret don't tell anyone, it's called zabasearch.com. The information comes from mostly public records and it's free. Although you need to know what her name is, and the state, or you could try entering every single state. Good luck, it would be nice to know if it worked out for you.

Your real mom is the one that raised you. Your birth mother is the one that gave birth to you - does not translate into a Mom. Ask your Mom if she knows who your birth mother is.
