Losing 31-13 to the Dolphins was unexpected given the relevant records of the team. The Bears certainly let their fans down.
However, it could be either a blessing or a curse. It could help focus the Bears for the important matches ahead or start a collapse for the rest of the season.
The next few matches will tell the story but for now they still have the whip hand at 7-1. The NFL is a competition where you can't afford to relax against any team or they'll leave you with egg on your face. Bears fans can take heart that in 1985 the Dolphins were the team that interrupted the Bears winning run and the Bears won the Superbowl with an 18-1 record.

The Bears losing their last game to the Miami Dolphins was something that I never would have expected!!! I was kind of expecting it when the Bears have to play New England, but MIAMI???
