Addition-the reason I hate it is because 3 members of my immediate family died in one holiday season. One died Christmas morning and the other 2 a week later.No I'm not unpatriotic.

I think lots of people are sad, frustrated or disappointed at Christmas. For many it;s the most stressful time of the year. Families often are at odds about everything from religious beliefs, what time to eat dinner and how many toys to get for the kids. Lots of people spend way too much money and spend the rest of the year paying off credit cards. COmmercials and social mythology tell us that "everyone" is happy this time of year, but I don;t think this is true. At least you admit your feelings.

Often, people see things only through their own eyes and cannot understand why what is considered a vastly important and happy event is not the same for all. Some people have a very difficult time with holidays and events. Some people are neutral and others really have a problem. You have very strong feelings about this, is there a particular reason?

No one should feel tortured over a holiday. To make things worse the commercialism starts in September and goes on until January. People should accept the fact that you don't want to participate. I can accept this. Best of luck to you!

It is unAmerican to hate Christmas. Are you unpatriotic! Actually I don't really like Christmas either. It has totally lost its true meaning. I understand where you are coming from.

If you don't care for Christmas, so what? I don't give a rat's butt. A rat's butt could care less. Do your thing. If others can't accept the way you feel, tell them to fok off.

You don't have to like it. Just go away by yourself somewhere and leave all the emotions and partying to others.

You dont have to like christmas. You dont have to even celebrate it. But I know I will. Dont let it bother you that we like it and you dont.

well in my opinion dey probably keep buggin u bout it cuz 2 a majority of pplz Christmas is a time fo fun 2 gitt 2gether give presents n stuff but dey have no ryte 2 try n make u lyke it if u dont its ur lyfe wut u wanna lyke u lyke wut u dont wanna lyke u dont
