Im sorry that you were disapointed with your SAT scores. There are a lot of prep-books and classes out there to help you study and imporve the score the next time that you test. The College board website, the people that administer the SAT, is probably a good start.

When I took the exams, I scored 800 on math and 793 on verbal. When I got to MIT, and a bunch of us were comparing scores, it turned out that everybody in the room had scored 800 on math, so I was not nearly the hot shot that I thought I was.

Oh dear, I got only 790 on the math, so I went to Caltech instead of MIT. Now I feel dumb.
790 math, 640 verbal, in the year 1976. Good enough to get into Mensa!
