How can I backup the list of "My favorites" in the internet explorer?

I have a lot of names in the list of "My favorites" in the internet explorer. I want to back-up them to be prepared in case of accident, but I am not sure how to do. Thank You.

To import bookmarks or favorites, on the File menu, click Import and Export.

just burn them to cd and mark it my favs backup and put the date on it
