I think it's good for now against the teams they played but realistically and comparing against NBA History and Jordan I think a stat line like 30-32ppg 6.5rebounds 5.8 assists, and 2.2 steals would give the Lakers the best chance of winning a ring as long as Odom adds 20ppg and some else steps up as the 3rd option.

He wants to prove that he can win a championship without Shaq. I think he realized that winning a game is more important than having a good stat. Being a superstar does'nt rely on having a lot of points. If he continue to do what he is doing right now, they have a big chance of capturing the title. He's teamates should always step up every game though. If he's teamate wont do their part. Kobe will do everything by himself again.

I don't think it's really a problem he's not scoring as much. What he is doing is getting way more assists and also getting all of his teammates more involved. However, when he does get back into shape, I think he'll need to start scoring more like you said. I think that what he is doing is getting his teammates involved right now, but he's going to need to score more when his team isn't doing well. It all depends on whether the team needs him to score or not. But I do admit, I miss the scoring Kobe I used to luv to watch.

I have watched Kobe for years and he has lost a lot of fight. He is not nearly as powerful as he used to be. Is it confidence level? I don't know. I think the legal matter slowed his game. It zapped him. Another player needs to step forward about mid season and bring them a great rhythm. That is all it will take!

At this point it would be a mistake for him to try too much. He's still recovering from knee surgery, he still needs to improve his conditioning, because he still doesn't have his usual explosiveness. What he's doing now works because it helps maintain the rhythm the team established while he was out, and gives him a chance to gradually integrate himself back into the offense. Probably by the end of the year, he'll be healthier and getting back to being able to do the things he normally does.
