right now is going to be one of the crappiest times of your life bar none. when a marriage ends feelings get hurt on both sides. sometimes that hurt has built up over a long period of time and that is what led to the divorce. here's my advice, as long as no alcohol or drug abuse is involved (or any other kind of abuse) on your part, then you should be able to come to agreeable terms. the best way to do that is to learn to control your own feelings of anger. go out of your way to be nice to her. If she can't bait you into acting like a jerk and your being a gentleman, then she will look like an unreasonable ***** in front of the wrong people. this advice works, hell she might even settle down if your being all congenial. the only problem with this is it's damn hard to do. It's worth it but when you have lived with someone they know where your buttons are and how to push them. DON'T give her that power over you. use meditation, picture yourself victorious in court whatever it takes, but don't ever let her get under your skin. last bit of advice, get character witnesses to write positive letters about you as a parent. if you have anyone who would write something factual and negative about your ex get it. in court the written word holds more sway than spoken words. trust me I have been there and won.

okay....it's men like you that piss me off. you get mad when other women lie about visitation and then don't DO anything about it.

get your rear end to the courthouse. file for joint custody and visitation. organize a visitation schedule and STICK TO IT!! serve her with the paperwork. she has to respond. when she disagrees, you do an order to show cause and request a hearing. in the meantime since this will take a few months, keep a journal. in it, keep a record of how much time you actually have your child. then go to the child services and request a modification of child support and let them know you need to reduce your child support payments. get a hearing.

Don't assume all females can be life ruiners.
Unfortunately, you picked the rotton fish from the sea.
You have your son Monday, Wednesday and Fridays as well as weekends. Your son needs you right now, forget that woman and focus on helping your son grow up into a man and teach him to pick a nice girl!

I hate to tell ya this, but after being married twice, and being the ***** in those relationships according to my ex husbands, that it takes 2 to tango.
Maybe there are issues that you are so angry about that you fail to see your role in the marriage. Like maybe shes being a pain in your be-hind because of something you did. And maybe not. But you may want to really look at yourself honestly and see what she may be fussing' over. (and by the way, yeah, the 2nd marriage falling apart was partly my fault.)

I am very sorry. I wish you luck in your custody battle. Just remember not to express your feelings in front of your child and I would hope she will give you the same courtesy. He should never hear your private arguments and negative comments about either parent.

take a number; every man who ever walked this earth has had some crazy woman wreck things. the line would be long as hell with adam at the front complaining to god about how messed up they are. i'm sure there's a similar line with women complaining about men

I'm sure she's on here asking why you messed up her life

Shame on both of you for acting like this when you have children together....they deserve mature adults for parents.

Calm down.

I'm sorry you're having a tough time, but speak for yourself. Not all of us are bitter.

"my belief is that the tighter the panties around the sack the less you create, per say." Where did you come up with such idea?
