with that why Are magazine prices going up and now tax on it thats crazyyy!!!! why should we buy them any more???

I think it's because companies just want more and more money as time goes on. They don't want to give you a good deal... they just want to make all the money they can. This applies to other things too, not just magazines.

Their expensive on their own because YOUR NOT A SUBSCRIBER! If your buying only one copy they have to make some money off of you. If your a SUBSCRIBER, yourself and everyone else with a subscription is reading all the pretty advertisements because they (advertisers) paid BIG BUCKS to have their ad in the magazine which will be in your hands at least 12 more times...(Thats why they give you a deal on a subscriptions)

Thats where they make there profits I guess. I subscribe to stuff and its real cheap. In China town I bought naughty asian magazines for $4 a piece. I love China town.

two reasons. one, people aren't buying as many magazines as they used to, and two, magazines are getting fatter and using more and more colored pictures. the more colored pictures, the more expensive it is to produce, so they have to charge more to the customer so they still make the same profit. So, only buy a magazine if you really, really intend to read it!

Honestly, what's not expansive these days....but yeah i agree 6$ is a lot of money for paper.
