I remember when I was younger I ALWAYS wanted to get tattoos and piercings...just because it was "COOL" and now that I'm older I can actually say that I regret getting a tattoo that I got when I was only 13 years old. The tattoo wasn't done by a professional and it looks terrible and I just ended up paying more money to get something over it. You really should wait until you are 18 to get a tattoo, you might not think it's the best advice right now but you will realize it when you're older. And also most professional places refuse to do underage piercing without the consent of a parent and they won't even tattoo any one under 18 with or without consent so I think another reason it would be best to wait is for professional results and cleanliness. You also have the risk of getting AIDS if you go to a person who isn't a professional.

I think 15 is a good age. Getting your belly button pierced can give people the thought that you are either weird/disrespectful and you may lose respect from people, or that you are sophisticated, confident, and beautiful. Getting a black belly earring and showing it off way too much is gothic/weird. Getting a sparkle diamond, or a pink stone (any cute color) and also wearing cute clothes with it can make it gorgeous. It doesn't have to be pink to be pretty, it can be white, blue, red, orange, it's just the way you play it up!

Old enough to know you should talk to your parents first if you are under 18.Over 18,your choice in my opinion.
My daughter wanted her ears pierced when she was 12 but I told her if she still wanted them pierced when she reached 16,I would take her to have them done and buy any earrings she wanted.
Well, she is 28 now and No pierced ears. So, think about why you want your belly button pierced.

I think the parents should decide that if the girl is under 18...and I would say no younger than 16 to be perfectly honest.
