My psp will not connect to the internet?

I have a linksys router wireless-G and Im fairly new to this stuff, my friend has the internet on his psp but he didnt do it his friend did. My ? is how do I hook it up step by step?

First you have to make sure your Router is ready to allow more devices. And if ou set up WEP or WPA encryption on your router you will need to get the key code for your PSP. Then put your PSP in Internet Access mode and go through and scan for your router and you should be all set.
