I'm making it a goal of mine to watch 100 movies within a year. Which do you think are the 100 best and most influential movies of all time?

It's debatable. I don't agree with all the studies that AFI puts out, those are based on census polls, not live interaction with film historians or buffs like myself.

On a personal note and regarding genres, most of the films in my collective ( from 15 years ) can go either way with the general public.
In the long run, you, make the decision on your own as to what are influential, no matter what your age.

Ghostbusters, Shrek, Cars, 13 going on 30, Legally blonde, Harry Potter 1, Harry Potter 2, Harry Potter 3, Harry Potter 4. You can take out the Harry Potter series if you don't like Harry Potter. I try and think of some more and if I do I'll get back to you!

heathers, citizen kane (i hate this movie! but the cinematography was groundbreaking!), blade runner, wizard of oz, casablanca, godfather, scarface (both versions), some like it hot, tootsie, dog day afternoon
