You've GOT to be kidding. No.
Heck, we don't even have full diplomatic relations with Cuba nor trade relations. Both are stupid in this day and age and hypocritical-- we're buddies with China and all sorts of dictators/monarchys. Come on-- Beaches in cuba are great + those cigars. Ahhiii pappi 8-)

Very unlikely.
Puerto Rico, DC and Guam are all much more likely to become states first, since they are already US protectorates.
Cuba is a foreign country, and not a US protectorate. So, the odds of it ever becoming a state are slim. But it certainly won't be the next state added.

Not likely. DC, Guam, and Puerto Rico are in line ahead of Cuba. And as to the Canada remarks, their territories (is that what they are called?) are big enough to be qualified as individual states, but I would selieve we would see something more along the lines of a constitutional merger, between the two. And, THAT is not bloody likely.

No I would have to agree with the guy above me! In my earlier comment I was mistaking Cuba with Puerto Rico.

that's conceivable yet lately not likely i imagine. i might want to assert that fairly quickly after Fidel Castro passes the communist authorities of Cuba will crumple of that's personal accord and regardless of regime takes that's position will be a lot friendlier to the U. S..

No. Cubans don't want to be a part of the US, and given the mess that Cuba is likely to be after Fidel dies, the US doesn't want them either.

There's an idea. If we're going to start another war, at least the travel time will be less. The troups can have 3 day passes.

nope. when Fidel dies, his brother will take over. He looks to be even more of a wackjob communist than Fidel.
Even if we invaded the country and cuba bacme free, we wouldn;t make it a state.
