Fungi.

The first split in the phylogenetic tree comes between the prokaryotes and the eukaryotes.

Prokaryotes are cells without nuclei. They include both the bacteria kingdom and the archaea kingdom.

Monera is an old obsolete classification that doesn't mean anything any more, but is more or less synonymous with archaea.

Eukaryotes are cells with a distinct nucleus. All multicellular organisms fall into this kingdom, including fungi and humans, thus placing fungi as having the most recent shared ancestor with humans.

Monera or fungi; both eukaryote, but I am too lazy to look at my taxonomic tree.

PS Sorry, I mistakenly included Monera, a prokaryote, so fungi by process of elimination.
