Can I wear red shoes with a black dress to a Marine Ball?

Aww as a wife to a former marine, I miss those darn balls. I actually did red shoes with a black dress one year, and vice versa another. I always wanted to spice things up since most of the girls/women wear all black or all white. Boring! Have fun and get the pictures; they're worth it.

Yes you certainly can, but to make the red shoes fit in with your dress more at the Ball, I suggest wearing some black and red jewelry, or a red necklace and earrings. You could also wear a red headband, or scarf around your head. Cute!

The dress is appropriate. Black would be better. No necklace because of the neckline of the dress. The earrings on the page were very nice. A glittery bracelet would look nice. Black shoes of course. Not too much makeup. Hair should be swept up, also because of the neckline of the dress. Try not to worry. The only way you will embarrass your Marine is if you get drunk and act the fool.

i don't know what a marine ball is, but if your gonna wear a black dress, you can choose any color shoes but make sure that you have jewlery that is the same color or at least the same shade. personally, red and black look emo, so i would pick bright blue shoes and jewlery.

It depends on if the shoe is open toed or close. If its open toed i'll say yes but if not go with black,silver or gold shoes. You'll look hot
