does anyone know the definition for jazz shoes?????????!!!!!!!!!! i cant find it anywhere!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go to www.discountdance.com. The "definition" will depend on your studio or what you are looking for.

There are split sole jazz sneaker, which I LOVE! But, there are also leather jazz shoes that are typically used in studios. These are just a lace up leather shoe (under the heading of jazz shoes)

i kind of flexible shoe that you use in jazz dancing. It helps to control movement while protecting your feet. It is soooooo much more comfortable and easier to use than pointe shoes. If you are in a rush, you can use flat ballet shoes or soft hiphop shoes if u dont have time to change shoes.
