If you mean the kind of stockings that does not need garter belts, in my experience no brand fullfill the requirement "put on and forget", because all brands I tried tend to slip down, roll and fall.

So I ended to wear "stay ups" with a garter belt, I feel safer. Of course you must put extra care when hook the clips, because the siliconic strips can damage them.

For everyday use, I even prefer use stay-ups with garter belt rather than regular stockings because they stay better in place all the day.
