i am gonna buy a zippo soon. how big is the flame when u light it. it is just like an inch like regular lighters? cuz my brother said it is like 3 inches. so what is it really?

all of mine zippo lighters flames are about a inch or so, i never really thought about making bigger, but it is wind resistant

My zippo is almost 3 years old :) Had it as a hobby. yeah it gives u a wider and longer flame .. around 2 - 3 inches ... dependng on the fuel and the piece of fabric that is soaked .. u have to maintain it .. and change parts every year or so... I fill it every 2 or 3 months .. ... It depends also on the model ... there are few that are wind resistant..and give u a shorter flame... good luck :)

it can be 1 -3 inches, zippos suck though cuz the fluid can leak out, they dry out, and they stink like the ligher fluid in them.
Go with a Bic...cant go wrong there.
