it depends on what you will use it for. It's less expensive and not as heavy as wood.

Did you ask a similar Q about particle board???

I suggest that since Laminated wood has been around for eons, it apparently works!!!

Beyond that I also suggest that in the case of areas needing to be covered by a 4 x 8 sheet,,, finding such in a non laminate material would be nearly impossible if not cost prohibitive.

I am baffled by the Q under the Q,,,What do we use it for. No offense meant, but have you ever seen a house or other building being constructed? That's just one example of use.

need to know what your building .can be use for a lot of things indoors and outdoors.treated and none treated.used allover.
